About Rebel

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and raised in Los Angeles, California, Rebel has built a successful financial accounting and tax practice based in Dallas, Texas.  Her auspicious professional accomplishments include positions with Grant Thornton, Internal Revenue Service, KPMG, and several public and private companies as Controller. Today, her thriving practice includes primarily oil and gas industry clients throughout the U.S.

Having attended Buckley School in Los Angeles and Casady School in Oklahoma City, Rebel attended Southern Methodist University and graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. A Certified Public Accountant, Rebel also earned her Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

She volunteers at local churches as a financial coach helping married couples solve difficult financial issues. She developed a program for couples entitled "Family Financial Fitness" involving a one hour annual review of a family's financial situation. This led her to establish The Association for Marital Financial Advisors in the hope of building a network of volunteer financial coaches.

Personally, Rebel is married to Scott Salmon, and they reside in the Dallas area with their chocolate Labrador Retriever named Jake.
